I can't log in to Bless's website using web3auth

Hello, I’m a user of https://bless.network/dashboard/login. my email is oooooyoung11@gmail.com

When I automatically log in with my Google email, I’m redirected to the web3auth authentication page. However, any password or phrase I enter generates an error message.

I’ve confirmed that I’ve configured my email address, password, key phrase, and other authentication methods in the web3auth dashboard settings(url show v10 version).

However, when I log in using the bless website, I’m still redirected to the authentication page and fail authentication.(maybe v9 version)

Thank you for the detailed report and screenshots, young o! Here’s a summary of your issue for the support team, along with a few suggestions:

Issue Summary

  • Platform/Integration: Bless Network Dashboard

  • User Email: oooooyoung11@gmail.com

  • SDK Details: Web3Auth Plug n Play (PnP), possible version mismatch (v9 on the website, v10 in your dashboard)

  • Problem:

    • After logging in with Google, you are redirected to the Web3Auth authentication page.
    • Any password or phrase entered results in an error message.
    • You have checked your Web3Auth dashboard and confirmed your credentials and settings.
    • The dashboard shows v10, but the Bless site might still use v9.
  • Screenshots Provided:

    • Error message on the authentication page (unable to authenticate).
    • Web3Auth dashboard settings (showing v10).

Possible Causes & Suggestions

  1. SDK Version Mismatch

    • Your dashboard uses Web3Auth PnP SDK v10, but Bless’s website might still be on v9.
    • v10 centralizes configuration in the dashboard, while v9 relies more on frontend code and may not recognize your updated settings.
  2. Migration Requirement

    • If the dApp (Bless) hasn’t migrated to v10, your v10 dashboard settings (such as password/key phrase) may not apply during login.
    • See the Web3Auth v9 to v10 Migration Guide for more details.

Next Steps & Questions for the Bless Development Team

  • For the Bless Developers:

    • Please confirm which Web3Auth SDK version is currently integrated on your site.
    • If still on v9, consider migrating to v10 to align with the dashboard settings and resolve authentication issues.
    • If migration is not possible immediately, please ensure that the verifier and authentication methods configured in v9 match those in the dashboard.
  • For the User:

    • You may want to reach out to the Bless support team and share this information, as the issue is likely on their integration side.

Support Team:
If you need the Web3Auth initialization/login code or additional browser console logs from the Bless team, please request them directly from the dApp developers, as the user is not the site owner.
