New Legacy project for migration

Hi Web3Auth,

I posted a couple of weeks ago about migrating a catch-all project to multiple projects.

I would like to know if it would be possible for the Web3Auth team to create 2 new Legacy Testnet and 2 new Legacy Mainnet projects since it’s impossible to migrate this catch-all project to new projects on Sapphire and I can’t create new Legacy projects from the UI.

I want to be able to customize the UI per project, and the current catch-all project doesn’t allow me to do that. I would delete the catch-all project once the migration is complete.

Thanks!

Hey Felix! Thanks for reaching out, and we appreciate you clarifying your migration needs. This sounds like a feature request to have additional Legacy projects created on your behalf. I’ll pass it along to our Web3Auth team so they can follow up with you. We’ll keep you posted on the next steps soon. In the meantime, if there’s anything else you’d like to add, feel free to let us know!

Hello Felix,

I understand your concern, but I do not believe creating new projects (even for legacy networks) will resolve your issue. Every project has a unique client ID, regardless of the network. This client ID determines the key generated for the user. You can refer to this documentation for more information: Different Private Keys/ Wallet Address across Integrations | Documentation | Web3Auth

Therefore, your user keys will change regardless of whether you migrate to a new project.
