Onramp aggregator - have to pay to see if it is what I want?

Hi, I think onramp aggregator might be just what I need, but without being able to integrate it in a test-environment, I don’t know. $399 is a lot of money to me, when I don’t have a production product making money yet. Can I run it on sapphire_devnet without the price-tag so I can see how it works?

Hi Charlie,

Thank you for your thoughtful question and for sharing your concerns about the Onramp Aggregator pricing!

To clarify: currently, access to the Onramp Aggregator is part of our paid plans. We understand that $399 can be a significant commitment, especially for early-stage projects or those still in development. At this time, there isn’t a public/free tier or devnet (including sapphire_devnet) access for the Onramp Aggregator to test its integration before subscribing.

What you can do:

  • If you haven’t already, please reach out to our sales/support team directly and mention your use case and stage. In some cases, we can provide limited-time trial access or a sandbox environment for evaluation, especially for promising projects or startups.
  • You can also keep an eye on our changelog and community forum for announcements about new features, trial options, or changes to access policies.

If you have specific integration requirements or want to discuss your use-case in more detail, please let us know! We’re always open to feedback and can sometimes offer custom solutions for developers in your situation.

Let me know if you’d like to be connected with our team for a potential trial or have any other questions about integrating Web3Auth.

Hi, thanks for your reply. That link to your sales team doesn’t work, but I would be very happy if you could connect me with them so I can arrange some kind of evaluation.

Charlie

Sure, please try out the features which are available for free on sapphire_devnet before going to production.
Please make sure to upgrade to a client id for a sapphire_mainnet project once you decide to go to production.

… hi, I think there’s a misunderstanding. I need to evaluate the onramp aggregator. It’s not available in devnet without me spending $399 to upgradge my account, just to check if it will do the things I need it to, can I arrange an evaluation of the onramp aggregator?

Hey,
Did you try out our demo which has this integrated?
https://demo.web3auth.io/
We’ll arrange a cal with the BizDev team if necessary post this.

Yeah, I had a look at that before, I guess I’d like to see parts of the integration so I can check how smooth I can make the experience for the users:

  • can I pre-load the aggregator with a walletid, chain (avalanche), a currency (USDC) and an amount?
  • how is KYC integrated?
I’d really like to see it working in my app, as my experience so far with 3rd party integrations is that until I actually see it working, I don’t know what the stumbling blocks are, and which questions I didn’t know I should have asked!

To answer your questions,

  • yes you can do it via the code
  • It is done as per the aggregator that you’re using as per your geolocation.

For a discussion on the Wallet Services you can schedule a call using the contact sales link on the pricing page.

I set a meeting up for tomorrow - thanks

Hey, I had the meeting, and am now set up on the scale plan, yet when I go to my dashboard → wallet services/wallet configuration, it says 'Unlock with scale plan" at the top. If I click that, it takes me to my billing screen where it says I already have ‘scale plan’. I can’t get the onramp widget to appear in my integration (even though the one for auth is working fine); so I suspect there’s a problem with my account config somehow…
