I am currently looking into the integration of Web3auth, however on testing I have found many apps use the openlogin domain while the Web3auth documents use the web3auth domain. Is there a way to use the openlogin domain? Also what is the benefit of the openlogin domain over the web3auth domain?
@User42 The Dapps you are viewing are using different version of Openlogin/Web3Auth.
- Web3Auth v5 uses Openlogin version V3(app.openlogin.com/v3)
- Web3auth v6 uses Openlogin version v4(app.openlogin.com/v4)
- The latest Web3Auth v7 uses Openlogin v6 (auth.web3auth.io/v6)
The latest version v7 is packed with essential updates, enhancements, and some pivotal changes to further ease your development process. You can read more here
We recommend to use only the latest version i.e. Web3Auth v7 as v6 is scheduled to be deprecated on 31st December 2023 ,
