Can't verify my 2FA - None of the options are working

Hello - I created an account with web3auth via tea.xyz and the other day I was prompted to setup my 2FA. However, my password generator failed to save the password I used for the recovery password automatically. I also had to clear my browser cookies and cache so it made me login again saying it’s a new device even though it’s the same one. I don’t have a recovery phrase and don’t believe I ever received one, plus I can’t do the auth by signing in to the original browser because I’m not signed in anymore, lol…

Can you please help?

Hey @ashton,

I understand the challenge you’re facing. Clearing your browser cache has unfortunately removed the device share stored in your browser’s local storage. Without having set up additional verification factors for your account, recovery becomes quite complex. As a non-custodial solution provider, we don’t retain copies of your device share after it’s initially set up for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but our commitment to privacy and security means we prioritize the non-custodial nature of our service.
