Hi there! It looks like you’re using the Web3Auth Plug and Play SDK and you’re experiencing an issue with not seeing the “recovery password” option.
To help the support team assist you better, could you please confirm the following:
- The SDK version you’re currently using.
- The specific platform you are integrating with (e.g., web, iOS, Android).
Additionally, if you can share more details via images or the error console log, it can be quite helpful. But only if it’s convenient for you!
In the meantime, I recommend checking the Web3Auth Documentation for Recovery to ensure that all steps have been correctly followed. There might be configurations or setup steps that need verification.
Thank you for reaching out! Let us know if you have any more questions or updates.

Hey @365562422
This is probably the dapp you’re facing this on hasn’t enabled setting up of recovery password for its users, that’s you. But if you think others have this option and you don’t, it may be because the Dapp later on turned on setting up of recovery password as a part of the MFA onboarding, so all accounts created and and had got MFA enabled before that might not have that option. But all accounts created post that change may have recovery password option. i hope this helps.
