I installed the PnP Web SDK React Playground and some things dont work

I need help to put some methods to work, now i need to put to work the “send” method

at the moment i just loads forever, i have not touched this parts of the code so is the same as the one that is in the example repo PnP Web SDK React Playground, maybe there is some steps that i need to take to get the send method working, it would be amazing to get some help with this!
