Trying to use latest PnP SDK with “Web3Auth” verifier, but the wallets created are not showing up in Torus or openlogin to recover the private keys.
Checklist -
Using network “mainnet”
Default verifier, not custom
Dashboard setting checked for Torus compatibility
Log into app.openlogin.com with the same credentials after creating a wallet in my test app, but there are no accounts showing there.
Can you provide complete checklist or instructions on how to create Torus compatible wallets? Or how it is possible for users to recover their private key through you in the latest SDK version? Because there doesn’t seem to be anything like an app.web3auth.com to do this.
You need to login to https://app.tor.us/ using the same authentication method you used for your application. You can click here for the remaining steps.
Once logged in, select the account you need from your profile settings as shown below:
After selecting the respective wallet account, follow the below steps to view the private key:
Click Settings > Privacy & Security
Click on Account Details
On the popup that appears, you will see the Show Private Key option
Click the eye icon to see your Private Key as shown below:
I have the same issue, using the latest SDK and SAPPHIRE-MAINNET with Torus compatible enabled, yet no account shows for my project when logging in with the same method at app.tor.us or app.openlogin.com
Retaining our distributed architecture means the same unparalleled level of security and fault tolerance in the system. In its three years of operation, our legacy mainnet has never gone down - and we can expect the same or even better guarantees for Sapphire
Yes but I refer to Legacy Mainnet since your site says it is deprecated now. And also ask about if our new users on Legacy Mainnet will also be migrated to Sapphire, or the migration is finished now?
Where are you getting this information from? Can you share?
Migrations to Sapphire Network Were you able to refer to this link ? This is for Mainnet i.e. Legacy Mainnet itself. Since mainnet is already migrated, new users will be on Sapphire via Legacy Mainnet. The migration is complete long back.
You can still choose Legacy Mainnet for Torus Wallet Interoperability. There are several applications still on Legacy Mainnet so there is no need to switch to Sapphire and users were automatically migrated.
Does this mean that if I create an account today using Legacy Mainnet it will also be created on Sapphire Mainnet? So I can login then using either network after that?
Please understand to use Torus Interoperablity the network/environment should be Legacy Mainnet although it is migrated internally to Saphhire, mainnet & sapphire_mainnet are 2 different production environment with different nodes.
If you are still not clear, you can schedule a call with our business team: Calendly - Web3Auth
I think what you are saying is that Legacy Mainnet is now using the new Sapphire infrastructure, but with the Legacy Mainnet verifier? Is that correct?
Do you know if there are any plans to create a similar system as app.openlogin.com for user private key retrieval for the Sapphire Mainnet in the future? Or will this remain just for the Legacy Mainnet users?
