Using Twitter handle/login to predict the wallet address to be generated

Hi,
I know that if we do an account reset for an existing user, the wallet created by that account is same.
So that gives me a thought that it might be possible to predict the wallet address getting generated with a particular verifier?
If I have twitter login, for a given handle, would I be able to know or calculate what wallet address will be generated?

@tirtha Thanks for your question.

Hey Tirtha,

You have mentioned this line over here

I know that if we do an account reset for an existing user, the wallet created by that account is same.

Unfortunately, this line is incorrect. If you reset the account for an existing user, the account will change. There is no way of recovering the account you have created if you don’t have the minimum threshold of shares. If a user has lost their recovery password/ device shares, their account is lost. This is what maintains the system’s non custodiality.

Talking about predicting wallet addresses, that is technically possible using our upcoming SFA lookup API. This works with the Core Kit Key present in our SFA SDKs. We’ll share more information around this when we’re closer to the release date.
