Web3Auth NoModal email_passwordless Validation Failed

We are currently using the Web3Auth No Modal with email_passwordless. We have had multiple users contact us with this issue occurring on multiple devices with no further information provided from Web3Auth.

Is there a way to get debug logs or have this issue looked into?

Here is a screenshot that shows the error occurring.

Hi Charles!

Thank you for reaching out and providing the details about the issue you’re experiencing with the Web3Auth NoModal using email_passwordless. I understand how frustrating it can be when users encounter validation errors across multiple devices.

Here’s a summary of the details for the support team:

  • SDK Details: Plug n Play
  • Issue: Web3Auth NoModal email_passwordless Validation Failed
  • Screenshot: Attached showing the error

To help further investigate the issue, it would be really helpful if you could provide additional information, such as:

  • Web3Auth Initialization & Login Code Snippets: This will give our team context on how you’ve set it up.
  • Browser Console Screenshots: If possible, capturing logs from the browser console might reveal more details about the error.
  • Verifier Name: If you’re using any specific verifier for the email_passwordless method.
  • Method of Login: Confirmation that you’re exclusively using email_passwordless.

If you’re able to share this info, it would greatly assist our support team in diagnosing and resolving the issue. Looking forward to your response!

Hey @charles1

Is this happening for most of the users? Also, is this hosted? if so we can take a look at it from our end.

And yes, you can get logs from the SDK by setting enableLogging to true. Meanwhile, can you share the console and network logs?
