When our users turn on their VPN they get this error:
could not get result from torus nodes \n unable to resolve enough promises.
Hey @starlose13
I understand you’re facing an issue while connecting via a VPN. Could you please let me know if its mandatory for you to connect through VPN and which country do you connect it through and the VPN provider?
Yes, it’s unfortunelty essential for our users in Iran to use a VPN for accessing the Web3Auth Google login featureT;otherwise they faced with that error. Currently, we’re exploring potential solutions to ensure seamless access without the need for VPN.
Regarding the Enterprise plan, could you provide more details on how it might address this issue? We’re open to exploring all available options to resolve this matter efficiently.
I understand your problem, @starlose13. But the key reconstruction requires this much of time and bandwidth which won’t be possible on a VPN. I would urge you to try out email passwordless way of login for any email via other email service providers, it would work like a breeze for you.
Regarding Enterprise plan, we offer premium level of support for our clients on Enterprise, even they’re advised to not use VPN.
Does this mean that if we use the enterprise plan, we will no longer have to worry about Iranian users? They will not hit the error I mentioned without using vpn?
Pardon me @starlose13 , I forgot the word ‘not’ in the last post.
Try out the email passwordless way of login with a non-gmail email. That would not require you to use VPN and web3auth will work the way it’s intended to work.
I trust this message finds you well @maharshi . I am following up on our previous communication regarding the challenges faced by Iranian users with Web3Auth. As mentioned earlier, users in Iran are currently restricted from accessing the (web3auth) wallet directly, and even with the use of VPNs, they encounter persistent issues across various platforms like Gmail, Discord, LinkedIn, and more.
In our effort to find a viable solution, we are exploring the option of upgrading to the Enterprise plan. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide further insights into whether the Enterprise plan addresses and resolves the connectivity issues faced by Iranian users.
Your expertise and guidance on this matter would be invaluable to us. Thank you for your time and consideration.
hi dude @maharshi . I am writing to follow up on my previous inquiry regarding Access to Web3auth for Iranian users. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with an update on the status of my request and let me know if a solution has been found.
Hi @starlose13
Unfortunately, Enterprise plan would not be able to help you in this regard. All of our clients are requested to not use VPN while using Web3Auth. I hope that you could find any solution that would allow you to access Web3Auth without a VPN.
