2FA issues- Never received recovery factors, cant verify on alternate device

Set up account with 2FA, never received a recovery factor or was ever prompted to write one down when setting up

when trying to verify on alternate device it just leads to a dead page or link nothing works or happens I think is because I previously did a hard refresh clearing cache and cookies

so now I have no way to log into the account as I never set up a recovery factor, never got one in a email, and cant verify on alternate desktop device

email associated with account is

@ntcitizen274 Welcome Aboard!

If you clear cookies on the browser for any of the devices, the device share will be broken as they will no longer be registered so you will be asked to verify your login. You mention you setup up 2FA , was this through Google login or Email passwordless ? When setting up 2FA,you are always asked to verify the backup phrase in MFA screen but if you have not setup the recovery email to send backup phrase, you will not get the phrase. Did you verify the backup phrase this way during the 2FA setup ?

Is this login for your Dapp or the Web3Auth Dashboard? Can you provide more information which link you login to ?

I set up 2fa through google account login

when I set up the 2fa initially there was never a back up phrase step shown or given

therefore there was also no option to set up a recovery email

every time i try to login either I need a recovery phrase which I dont have or it tells me to try and login on the other original device which is my desktop but the url they provide to go to doesnt do or load anything on the because the device share has been broken from clearing cookies

hello ? still waiting an answer

I am waiting for an update from our dev team and will get back when there is one.

The team pushed some fixes regarding this. Can you please check and let me know if you still face this issue? Thanks for your patience. @ntcitizen274
