Wallet Widget Issue

We have succefully intergrated web3auth into our dApp and we can proudly say that 95% is working perfectly with our workflow, without any issues.

1. The widget works in the development enviroment correctly!
2. When we compile our code to .exe the widget is no where to be found (React)
3. Our main objective is to have a deticated button that the user will press and will open the wallet as seen below and not the widget.

We are using:

“@web3auth/base”: “^4.4.0”,
“@web3auth/ethereum-provider”: “^4.6.0”,
“@web3auth/modal”: “^4.6.0”,
“@web3auth/openlogin-adapter”: “^4.6.0”,
“@web3auth/torus-wallet-connector-plugin”: “^4.6.0”,

Platform is React ( v118) app ( Node v 18 ) but does not run as webservice. its a desktop app compiled with es6.

We did a custom authentication using this Using AWS Cognito with Web3Auth | Web3Auth as we where using aws-cognito for our authentication.

The integration works perfect on development environment but not on the production.

The problem is that when the iframe (Torus) its called we get an error that the target origin its different from the window origin.

something else that might be the issue that we should try?
It is a very serious issue for us as our project depends on the resolution.

This is a very tricky situation, and we are creating a sample app on our end to test the flow.

But just to confirm, you have whitelisted overwolf-extension://nleodhh......ndm too?
